The success of our NCD advocacy work depends a lot on communication and sharing of knowledge and best practices. There is a huge information gap on NCDs among policymakers and communities, and indeed among advocates. This is in part due to the complexity of the subject that has been a challenge for advocates to convert the science into everyday language for people and the many actors and campaigns on health and development, all of which make the communication field very crowded. To improve our effectiveness, we are undertaking the following actions:
